Youth provide essays for competition in judging. The winning essay was sent to SWIS District. All those participating will be sharing at a lunch meeting and will be given club gifts.
The Youth did a great job developing and sharing their essays. We're looking forward to hearing their individual essays at a lunch meeting, rescheduled into May. Nathan W.and Tejvir M shared their essays with STOC members on May 13th. The topic of the Optimist International essay contest was “Optimism Should Be A Priority.” The winners at the club level were Nathan, first place, Anurag S. second, and Tejvir, third. Thanks to Mike Grasmick for organizing the competition. Nathan’s essay was advanced to the district level. (See the newsletter for more information).
